The key point of the video is instead of cutting the wire from AA battery slot and soldering it to the JST, dean or XT60 LiPo battery connectors, you can directly connect the balance port of the LiPo battery to the transmitter.
I'm using 1300Mah 2S 25C LiPo battery and i'm able to use my transmitter for more than a month (i fly every weekends) with a single charge unlike the AA batteries which i use to recharge every week.
