Overwork is one of the biggest problems faced by entrepreneurs, so in this video, I offer 5 tips that'll help you overcome burnout. What you'll learn is that if you boost or increase your energy, you can prevent and recover from burnout faster!
The first tip is to pick a goal that you can genuinely get excited about, even if it has nothing to do with your business or work. Pick something that you're motivated to make progress on, because that can spark momentum.
Second, write down what's overwhelming you. You see, when you actually put words to what you're feeling overwhelmed about, it helps you disconnect from the emotion. It then simply becomes a problem with a solution, which helps stop the overwhelm, get you to increase your energy or be pumped to take action, and overcome burnout.
Another strategy that'll help you overcome burnout is to plan time for rest and rejuvenation. When you do this, decide in advance exactly what you're going to do that's restful or relaxing for you. When you get specific, you’ll feel more motivated to protect your time for rest, which will help increase your energy.
