The GlockStore's indoor shooting room system is very unique for a public range. With its inherent flexibility, we can accommodate all types of shooting instruction… from rank beginner to accomplished competitor.
To publicize the range, and it's unique training capabilities, we challenged Mark Larson and Brett Winterble, San Diego KFMB AM760 talk show hosts, to a full-on, run and gun shooting competition.
They are both known for being witty, hence the contest name!
For the competition, they each get a firearm introduction class and then 3 additional lessons, with each lesson addressing a different shooting discipline.
On September 21, during our 4th Annual Open House, they will show how quickly someone can become a proficient shooter by having a "shoot off." The course will combine the skills they've (hopefully) learned in their individual lessons. They will be timed and scored on both speed and accuracy.
And just to make sure they will remain enthused about the competition, the winner gets their choice of Glock handgun.
