One of the most spectacular of all monuments in Goa, Church of St. Augustine is a ruined church complex located in Old Goa. Completed in 1602, the church is a component of the Goa churches and convents World Heritage Site.
In 1986, the church was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. . Despite being in ruins now, the Church of St. Augustine is nevertheless a must-see in Goa because of its rich history.
