I bought and tested the roll-line giotto wheels. (I'm not sponsored or affiliated with the company).
These wheels are great for a more experienced rink skater. They are HARD, and will slide on a coated concrete rink. Untested on a wooden floor.
I skate with open bearings if anyone is asking. That's personal preference.
The wheels are very nice, and I'll be keeping them on my skates for use at my local rink.
They do pick up a bit of gunk from the rink, so be prepared to give them a bit of a clean from time to time. That's to be expected with harder wheels though.
They only make a minimum of squeal if you're sliding to a stop. But I wasn't trying to make noise anyways.
Transitions, crossovers and turning were much easier with these wheels, although cornering has to be taken with care, as they want to slide.
I would compare these to the vintage wooden style wheels in ride feel. They're harder than the vanathane stock rental wheels.
I recommend these wheels, but be careful on them, as you have to get used to the feel.
