Good news for motorists, as they will receive some relief in the form of reduced petrol prices from next week. The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy is expected to announce the adjusted fuel prices for October. The price of petrol is expected to decrease by at least R1 per litre, while diesel is expected to increase by about 15 cents per litre.
