Vigilance and Trust.
Jesus speaks of signs in the heavens and on Earth that will precede His return. He describes a time of great suffering, but also ultimate restoration. The imagery of a darkened sun, moon, and falling stars serves as a warning, yet it also points to a future hope. Jesus reassures His followers that despite the distress, His return will be unmistakable—like the gathering of ripe fruit from a fig tree.
This passage calls for vigilance and trust. Jesus urges His disciples to stay alert and prepared, knowing that the exact time of His return is unknown. Even as the world faces trials, we are reminded to keep our faith, live with hope, and remain ready for His arrival. It teaches us to live with expectation, trusting that God's plan is unfolding, even when the future feels uncertain..
