The last train that reached the province of Laguna was performed by DEL 902 + EMU 07 + DEL 921 as MSC 1958 bound for Biñan, Laguna last July 15, 2023. It then made its last return trip back to Tutuban the following day in the early morning.

The Sta Rosa - Calamba segment was closed 2 weeks prior, therefore cutting the route of sleep trains up to Biñan only.

The Alabang - Calamba segment was closed to give way for the construction of the third phase of the North–South Commuter Railway (NSCR) that will connect Laguna to the provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga as well as Metro Manila.
