Description: After former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath's presence at a Sikh event kicked off controversy for his alleged role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, Congress has triggered another row. The All India Congress Committee on Thursday appointed seven committees of senior party functionaries in wake of the upcoming municipal polls and included former MP Jagdish Tyler, one of the main accused in 1984 anti-Sikh riots, is one of them. Several BJP functionaries took to social media to express their anger. A senior party functionary, however, said there is no case against Tytler and a dedicated worker. He is one of the several former MPs of Delhi who have been included in the election committee.
