Dr Matthew Wheater from the University Hospital Southampton gives us a update on the revised uveal melanoma guidelines & an overview on how ocular melanoma can be treated.
When producing a guideline on how to treat a condition, a committee will look at all the available data and make recommendations on how best the NHS should support patients. Dr Wheater will give us a brief overview of some of the important data included in the recent guideline review and what resources are available for patients wanting to learn more.
He will also share with us information on how advanced ocular melanoma can be treated and the relative merits of single-agent vs combination immunotherapy.
