The peacoat is a real staple of menswear. It has a flattering silhoeutte, dresses up and down easily, and is crazy warm. Borne among the naval forces, peacoats helped popularize Melton wool and Kersey wool, extra dense and wind resistant forms of the stuff. But there are more variations of peacoats than you might think, and in this video we're comparing the two most iconic peacoats: the one worn by the US Navy in WW1, and the one worn by James freakin Bond.
