The Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI) is set to begin its operation on October 16 and the new airport can receive huge aircraft from the United States and Europe, facilitating direct flights for international tourists visiting the Kingdom of Wonder.
Cambodia’s new Siem Reap airport remains on track to open by October, with a focus on developing routes to China. With construction to be completed in May, the $880 million airport project will see at least 300 weekly flights to and from China.
