The Burren Slow Food Festival 2018 kicked off on Friday night with a wonderful journey on the "Doolin Express", Doolin Ferry's fast boat, to the smallest of the Aran Islands, Inis Oírr (Inisheer). We walked a few steps to the pub called Tigh Ned, where the owner Pat fishes his own seafood, and thoroughly enjoyed the most wonderful food - crab claws, lobster, salads, smoked salmon and even a dessert.
