Back from the ASG at the SVR today, after spending the last 3 days videoing. The autumn gala is one I always look forward to every year and what makes it different from any other gala is all night running opening up chances for early morning shots and last light shots during the day. With temperatures very high during the afternoon, which sometimes mistaken it for a summer gala. The morning and evening were the times to get the camcorder out the bag. Here are 4 of my favourites from the last 3 days and it includes 6960 Raveningham Hall at Severn Lodge at a location I have been wanting to do for years and although the panning was challenging, it hasn’t turned out that bad. 76017 at Bewdley Tunnel, that was visiting from Mid Hants. Sunrise and last light shots at Eardington of 2857 and 34092 City of Wells, the latter visiting from East Lancs. Special thanks once again to the Valley for a very enjoyable gala. Enjoy 😉
