Barack Obama has edged closer to being his party's nominee for the White House, despite losing one of two primaries on Tuesday. While Obama easily beat rival, Hillary Clinton, in North Carolina, he lost to her in Indiana by just a few percentage points. The Democratic presidential hopeful has now increased his lead in both the popular vote and those of the so-called 'super delegates' - who will be crucial to determining the winner of such a close race.
