Boer goat plays a major role in success of Commercial goat farms. For better profitability in Commercial farms, weight gain(FCR) and high prolifacy (Twinning) are mandatory. We recommend South African Boer males to be crossed with Local breeds like Ajmeri, Thalachery, Osmanabadi females in ratio of 1:25 to get higher weight gain in kids.
