After Meaher State Park on Mobile Bay in Alabama, we backtracked to the Panhandle of Florida! Karick Lake has two campgrounds, Karick Lake North and where we had several awesome days and nights, Karick Lake South Campground. Karick Lake is located within the Blackwater River State Forest. We found this campground through using my "go to" and favorite campground search site: Campendium. Our initial plans were to meet up with my brother and sister-in-law for several days, then head down into Florida. With sites insanely hard to find for more than one or two nights in Florida in January... we went West again. Since we had reservations here and Karick Lake had been on my list of places to camp, we backtracked and didn't regret it! Join us as we share what this gorgeous campground has to offer!
