AG&P Pratham Has Commenced Steel Pipeline Laying Work In Ramanathapuram and Keelakarai || Hybiz tv
With ambitious plans for the state of Tamil Nadu, AG&P Pratham, a leading player in the Indian City Gas Distribution (CGD) industry, has commenced steel pipeline laying work in Ramanathapuram and Keelakarai. AG&P Pratham has also launched 3 CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) stations in the Ramanathapuram Geographical Area (GA) and aims to launch 4 more CNG stations in various locations of the GA such as Ramanathapuram, Paramakudi, Keelakkarai, and Sayalgudi by March 2023 to meet the growing demand for CNG. With its mission to provide cleaner air for healthier living, AG&P Pratham also provides a 24x7 natural gas supply in Ramanathapuram by establishing gas grids in Pattinamkattan and Rameshwaram areas, to achieve 15,000 PNG (Piped Natural Gas) registrations by March 2023. With this extensive pipeline infrastructure planned for the region, the project will generate over 1000 direct and indirect employment opportunities for the people of Ramanathapuram District.The company has started Steel Pipeline Laying work from CGS Plant Valuthoor to Kumariyakovil to provide continuous CNG/PNG supply to Domestic Customers and Company Owned & Company Operated (COCO) gas filling station will be established in Kuyavankudi village, Ramanathapuram. Furthermore, three daughter booster filling stations are already planned in areas of Paramakudi, Keelakkarai, and Sayalkudi for this fiscal year. Medium Density Poly Ethine (MDPE) networks in Pattinamkattan, Sakkaraikottai, and Ramanathapuram Municipality areas are also slated to start to ensure households are well connected with PNG facilities in these areas. The Steel Pipeline Laying work will not only provide continuous CNG/PNG supply to domestic customers but also several economic benefits, by reducing their fuel bills by ~50% and resulting in ~22% savings in households cooking fuel.
