From 1st October 2021, The NCA( Communications Authority of Ghana) together with the Ministry of Communications gave a directive to all sim card users to re-register their sims with a deadline set at 31st March, 2022. This date has been extended to 1st July 2022 to enable more Ghanaians go through the process which begins by dialing ×404# to link a customer's Ghana Card to their sim for a unique code and then proceed for final BIOMETRIC capture.
