The HP Streambook 14 is an “affordable” (Chromebooks take that cake now) Windows laptop with less than ideal specs. Mainly it’s memory. Now with windows 11 at a chokehold with your resources, *ahem* the 4 Gigabytes of RAM, you only get around 800 megabytes for yourself (Web browsing etc.) and at worst less than 200 megabytes. Here I show you how to tear down the laptop and replace the single DDR4 memory module with a better one!
The maximum supported memory by the Processor is 8 Gigabytes. I have tested this and both the main board and processor support it nicely! A well earned speed boost!
