Despite its SUV appearance, the 2025 Bentley Bentayga brings the same high-end experience as its coupe and sedan counterparts, like the Continental GT and the Flying Spur. It’s not only more functional but also happens to be Bentley’s most affordable option. That said, with a starting price north of $200,000, it remains firmly within the luxury segment.

For 2025, the Bentayga remains mostly unchanged, aside from a new Black Edition package based on the sporty S trim. This package includes blacked-out exterior details, including wheels, Bentley badges, and side mirrors, along with one of seven color accents for the lower body panels and rear roof spoiler.

Several engine options are available for the Bentayga, starting with a 443-hp hybrid setup that combines a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 and an electric motor. Slightly higher-powered 456-hp versions of this hybrid system are available on the Azure and S hybrids. Bentley also offers a 542-hp twin-turbo V-8, which is our preferred choice. All Bentayga models come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

In testing, the Azure Hybrid went from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, while the V-8 engine allowed the Bentayga S to reach 60 mph in an impressive 3.5 seconds. In a 0-to-150-to-0 speed test, a 2023 Bentayga S V-8 accelerated to 150 mph and came back to a stop in 32.8 seconds.

For fuel economy, the V-8 is rated at 14 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway, decent for such a powerful SUV. However, if fuel efficiency or electric driving is a priority, the hybrid option is ideal, delivering 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway, with up to 23 miles of electric-only driving. In our 75-mph highway fuel test, the V-8 model even exceeded its EPA rating, achieving 24 mpg.

Inside, the Bentayga’s cabin exudes luxury, with premium leather, genuine wood trim, and stylish metal accents. Buyers can choose either individual front and rear bucket seats or a three-seat second-row bench. Though the rear seats may not be as opulent as the Rolls-Royce Cullinan’s, they offer ample space for adults. The long-wheelbase version provides extra legroom and amenities, making it the ideal choice for those who prefer to be chauffeured.
