Peter Mewett is one of the most experienced local bee keeper and honey bee importer. He is well known for importing queen bees from Australia, California and Chile for sale across Canada. He was a mentor and inspiration for Todd in his earlier years. Peter has been on the executive of the Quinte Beekeepers Association for many years and also on the board of directors for the Ontario Beekeepers Association. We were excited to sit down and talk to him about all things bees, the business of importing bees and the passion of beekeeping.
