Entry submission for Kodak's True Colors contest. Both my daughters are type 1 diabetic. Everyday we show our true colors for one simple reason, love. We love them with all our hearts even though they have this disease. We do everything possible to make their days wonderful and make sure that diabetes doesn't slow them down. Their is no cure for type 1 diabetes but we don't let that get us down. We take it in stride because we realize this is a part of them and with god's will, we will hopefully one day, find a cure. That's what keeps us going everyday...oh also their great smiles and laughter :)
