(English & tiếng Việt) In this video I'm sharing with you how to make SWEET AND SOUR PORK RIBS - Vietnamese style. These tender and juicy ribs are covered with aromatic sticky sweet and sour sauce. They go very well with steamed rice and pickled vegetables. Enjoy! :)
INGREDIENTS (2 - 3 servings)
450 g/ 1lb. pork ribs
1/2 tsp salt
* Marinating mix:
1/8 tsp garlic powder (or 1/2 tsp minced garlic)
1/8 thìa onion powder (or 1/2 tsp minced shallot)
1/2 tbsp (7 ml) vinegar (apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar)
1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp soy sauce
* Sweet and sour sauce
15 g (2 - 3) shallots
7 g (1 - 2 cloves) garlic
1 tbsp sugar
2/3 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
120 ml (1/2 cup) hot water
60 ml (1/4 cup) oil for frying
