Right. Octopus cat. I doubted his usefulness in the stage just to realize how wrong I was.
A short cooldown wave blocker means that you can cancel any specific wave you wish and give yourself a much needed freedom in spawning cats. Despite his mediocre health, he have enough to survive one hit fron every enemies here, so he will usually tank 2 hits (from doge and/or direct hermit hit plus one more) before he is a goner.
He is not used to stay for long. He is just used to cancel Hermit's wave for a brief period of time until he dies in the hand of Hermit or the peons. As long as he is alive, you are allowed to spawn any cats without worrying for the next Hermit wave, which is perfect whenever things get hectic. Though remember that if Hermit does the killing blow, a wave will still occur. Remember that its still possible that a wave will happen in Hermit's last hit, which might mean trouble for your next meatshield cycle.
Basically, he increases the effective potential as well as the effectiveness of every other cats when in the field. A really solid support unit here. Takes a space for an attacker in trade of effectiveness of your existing attackers
