After a bruising battle of cash-burning and market grabbing, popular ride-hailing app Uber has slammed the brakes on its China operations, and merged with rival Didi Chuxing. This might be a win-win deal for both companies, but what does the marriage of these two giants mean for consumers and drivers? Some are concerned about rising charges, while others are worried about Didi's position as a monopoly in the industry.
