Protests in support of Ukraine by tens of thousands of people were held in major cities throughout the world, including Santiago, Vancouver, Paris, and New York.
Demonstrators took to the streets in support of Russia's President Putin's war on Ukraine, which had begun on February 24 and looked to be entering an entirely new phase.
