Kailash Gowthaman, a talent from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, shines bright in our Spotlight Series. A former bank employee turned actor, Kailash pursued his passion for stand-up comedy and the performing arts, leading him to embrace a dynamic career in acting.
“I was always in awe of the works of Vadivelu and Vivek of the Tamil film Industry and wanted to entertain the masses like they do!”, says Kailash. His impressive portfolio includes a role in the movie "All India Rank" directed by Varun Grover, a web series with Applause Entertainment and appearances in TV commercials for brands such as Coca Cola, Spotify, Samsung India, and Paytm. Kailash’s journey from the financial sector to the entertainment industry is a testament to his curiosity and love for the craft.
The Spotlight Series showcases performances by Actor Prepares alumni with the aim to promote them for various casting opportunities in films, television and digital projects as actors and performers. The show is presented by Actor Prepares, under the guidance of Suveer Bhambhani, Acting Coach at Actor Prepares.
