The Manila Metro Rail Transit Line 3, or simply Line 3 or MRT-3, is a railway line orbitally spanning the face of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) from North Avenue in Quezon to Taft Avenue in Pasay. Line 3 is the 3rd line of all the transit systems in Metro Manila, and is maintained and operated by Metro Rail Transit Corporation (MRTC). Despite being the third transit system in Metro Manila, it's actually the second to be built out of all 3 lines. Line 1 built and inaugurated on December 1, 1984, Line 2 on 2003 and Line 3 on December 1999.

Woke up on 6 AM, ate breakfast and went out on 8:20 AM, rode a jeep at the boundary of San Pedro until Alabang Starmall to ride a train (MSC T-930) at Alabang station until Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) station to ride a train on Line 3 until Ortigas to meet up with my railfan friends at SM Megamall.

After riding a train from Alabang to Epifanio de los Santos Avenue via the PNR on T-930 performed by 918+06/07, me and Kuya Werner met up with Kuya Dirk and rode a train on Line 3 from Magallanes to Ortigas.

Funny thing is we were in such a hurry when we were dispensing our single journey tickets or SJTs, when a train suddenly arrived. We hurried as much as we could, while I was getting my ticket from the dispenser, they were already unlocking the ticket gates with their SJTs. And as I approached and put in my SJT in the ticket gate, they were already boarding the train. Silly me forgot that the tickets are magnetic, and the gates do not have a push-hole anymore like all the lines did back in 2012.

It's just, it's been so long since I've ridden on the Metro Manila rapid transit lines, it was back in 2009-2012 when I occasionally rode the lines from time to time. Had a 5 year gap of no riding lines 1-3, and I've always had the good 'ol ticket hole gate machine. From 2018 have I started to ride Lines 1-3 again. It's like I've never rode on the lines ever due to such a long time I've never rode on them.

Anyway, Mr. Guard corrected me that the ticket is magnetic, and voila! I got through the gates! As I got through the gate, the doors of the train were already closing, with DPC Meow and Werner 921 already inside the train. They had a last glimpse of me while I waved them goodbye! Lol! Werner 921 was very worried of me. But I just had to wait 7 more minutes for another train, and so I did. I later catched up with them at Ortigas, and everything went fine and dandy.

Kuya Werner thought he had my SJT because I didn't get on the train with him and Kuya Dirk on time. He went nuts thinking that he lost his SJT, and mine was in his grasp. He thought about how I got passed through the ticket gates. They waited about 8 minutes for me at Ortigas station. He texted me asking if my SJT was here at my hands, and I replied yes. Therefore Kuya Werner had nothing to worry about anymore.
