Born at 25 weeks gestation at the Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital, Liam was diagnosed with broncho-pulmonary dysplasia, or chronic lung disease. Liam was then given an opportunity for a greater quality of life by receiving a tracheotomy thanks to the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
