Since installing this we have had a very hot spell in the UK with 30+ temperatures and the ceiling, I'm pleased to report stayed nice and cool, relatively speaking of course, so the multifoil seems to be working and I'm not suffering from any excessive thermal bridging from it.
If you are interested in this product, there are many choices out there, but I bought a product called 'Super quilt' and at the time of purchase was on offer in Wickes at £80 although I believe it is normally around £100 for a roll.
