One of the most unique waterfalls in the world would have to be Bua Tong Waterfall otherwise known as the Sticky Waterfalls. There is a mineral deposit in the water that makes the rocks grippy and not slippery at all. As there is no algae or slime on the rocks, they are perfect to climb up. There is even rope in some of the steep areas to help with the climb.
Bua Tong Waterfall is about 60kms north of the Old City, Chiang Mai. There is so much beautiful scenery along the way too.
