In 2040 we will all be fully immersed in the Metaverse. To get there, virtual reality technologies need to use all senses. The augmented Olfactory Interface lets you smell virtual environments, creating even more immersive virtual reality experiences. As a first years Masters degree student at the DeVinci Innovation Center, Romain is currently working in the field of Human Computer Interaction with a particular focus on human senses and virtual reality experiences.
Passionate about the sense of smell, his work aims at pushing forward scent technologies, by making the metaverse more emotional or by improving the user's olfactory performance.
