Follow the 6 tips and tricks in this video for improved chances of winning federal contracts.
1. Know the Requirement - "The biggest thing, I believe, is if in the request for proposal or the requirements document, they're saying they need you to do X. You need to specify that you can do X."
2. Avoid Redundancy - "If you can say it in 5 words, don't say it in 10."
3. Check your Grammar - "Incorrect grammar and spelling would stand out and it's just a distraction from your proposal."
4. Keep it Simple - "You don't want to use words that require a PHD to know, so that the evaluation panel has got to go back and look it up."
5. Use Public Knowledge with a Request for Information (RFI)- "You're bidding on a contract and you ask them how many hours per week would we have to work? Everybody else bidding on that contract would get the same answer back."
6. Be Conscious of Quality Assurance Plan - "If you can add that to your proposal and have the plan in place that you can show them. I think that would help win, definitely win contracts."
This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to writing winning bid proposals.
