Following the popularization town hall meeting in Lagos organized by the African Union Commission, Department of Political Affairs, on August 13 - 15 2019: A Three-day meeting of Youths, Civil Society Organizations and Students of Higher Institutions to popularize the Popularization and promote the Protocol to the Treaty Establishing African Economic Community relating to the Free Movement of Persons, Right of Residence and Right of Establishment in Africa opened a new chapter in the history of youths as Africans and this gave birth to an organization known as AU-YAFTEMOPA (African Union Youth Ambassadors For The Free Movement of Persons In Africa.
