½ Liter Beer
1½ tbsp. Salt
1½ tbsp. Brown Sugar
For the Rub:
1 ½ tbsp. Garlic Powder
1 ½ tbsp. Onion Powder
1 ½ tbsp. Paprika Powder
BBQ Sauce

Preparation Beer Brined Chicken Wings:
Find the soft spot of the wings by streching them. Seperate the wings by making a cut between the wingelettes and drummettes.
Pour the Beer into a bowl, add the sugar and salt and whisk until dissolved. Add the wings and brine for approx. 35 min.
In the meantime preheat your grill for indirect heat and mix the garlic, onion and paprika powder.
Dab dry the wings and season with the rub. Place the wings on indirect heat, add some smoking chips, close the lid and cook for approx. 20 min. at 180°C / 356°F until the wings have a nice colour. Glaze the wings with BBQ Sauce and cook for another 10-15 min.
