IPS officer Prabhakar Chaudhary has been transferred 18 times in 8 years. Some news outlets have reported that he has been transferred around 30 times since he joined the force in 2010. The latest transfer came on July 30, just hours after he cracked down on a group of kanwariyas who insisted on taking out a procession through an unauthorised route in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly district.
