Open vs Closed home bidding. Government is being told by increasing numbers of frustrated Canadians being out bid on home purchases, it must be the fault of the closed bidding process. Switching to open bidding however, is not the fix some might think, and is almost certain to further exacerbate price escalation. In both selling scenario there are winners, and there are losers.
