Yes, I am aware that I am 2 years late to this trend, if you can even call it that. Ever since I first saw the playdate, it was very intriguing, so about 2 years after they came out, I coughed out 200 dollars for it on eBay. This video was my first impressions, and I found it very neat, but since then in the time its taken to edit and upload this video, my thoughts have soured a bit, not because of the product itself, but more because of the fact that I probably won't use it enough to justify the hefty price. So I returned it, which means I will get my money back, but there will be no other playdate videos on this channel...
The playdate is very interesting, as it involves some weird characteristics, like the fact that it has a crank, or the un-backlit 1 bit display, or the fact that its yellower than I freaking school bus, although I guess that means that you won't have to worry about the plastics yellowing with time!
