A new immersive experience coming to Henrico County is allowing visitors to step into Vincent van Gogh’s famous masterpieces – literally!

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, which opens to the public on Aug. 22, is a 360-degree digital art exhibition that surrounds visitors in some of the artist’s most famous works with music, advanced technology and virtual reality.

“Using 3-D digital projection mapping technology, we’re showing over 400 of van Gogh’s works in our crowned jewel – an immersive gallery,” John Zaller, executive producer of the exhibit, told 8News.
