Whether we're seasoned professionals or just starting out, it's easy to get caught up in the negative self-talk or discouraging beliefs about being a filmmaker or cinematographer. While there is some truth to the obstacles to overcome to make film a career, there is also a lot of mythology around the business that shouldn't be believed at face value.
