Imagine making a YouTube video and when you are done shooting you just connect to YouTube and upload the video without editing. That is my goal for 2025. To help me achieve my no-edit videomaking goal I am using the Osmo Pocket 2 camera by DJI. The camera allows the user to record a scene pause the recording and then start the camera without creating another file that will require editing to assemble.
This is my first attempt to record and edit in camera. The Osmo Pocket 2 has decent sound, great video stability, a very nice 4k image in good light, is immensely portable, is discrete, low cost, and has a reputation for reliability. Add to those features the ability to pause and not make a separate file and the camera is close to ideal for many YouTube creators.
I am amazed that the pause feature on the Osmo Pocket 2 is never mentioned in ANY review or that the feature was not included in the Osmo Pocket 3.
