You never know until you try and that's exactly what I"m discovering as I get underway building my first log cabin. I"m not stranger to construction but up until now I've used dimensional lumber with consistent building materials. As the log cabin construction takes shape I quickly realize that it's not quite as precise as what I"m used to. I think that's what makes this so appealing. The rustic look has me hooked already as I admire the look of the first couple rows of logs. I'm certainly looking forward to continuing to add to this off grid log cabin and am sure many future projects down the road will also start going into my long-term plans.
