The cost of living in The Gambia continues to rise, placing an enormous burden on families, particularly women who are often at the forefront of managing household needs. Over the weekend, the Mayor of Banjul, Rohey Malick Lowe, called for urgent government action to address these challenges. Her appeal came during the launch of a new borehole project in Bajana, Foni Brefet, which aims to improve water access for women in the area.
