President Uhuru Kenyatta has today pardoned seven thousand prisoners, most of them charged with petty offences and others who were almost completing their terms. At the Mashujaa day celebrations held in Machakos, Kenyatta called on the judiciary to expedite corruption cases. The president has urged Kenyans to celebrate past heroes, by being heroes of today themselves.
