Today, I'm excited to unbox my very first GShock—the Casio G-Shock 2100 Series, Module 5611.
I was never much of a watch enthusiast, but hitting the big 4-0 made me decide it was time to get one.
I wasn’t a fan of the older, bulkier G-Shocks, so I’m thrilled that Casio now offers a slimmer, more versatile design. This model’s sleek, black face makes it suitable for any occasion, whether casual or formal.
Released in 2019, this G-Shock features a resin band and bezel, mineral glass, and an LCD with a negative display. It offers both analog and digital timekeeping, weighs just 51 grams, features a carbon core guard structure, providing durability while keeping the watch lightweight, perfect for my slim wrists
Like other G-Shocks, it’s shock and water-resistant up to 200 meters. It includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, and a date and day display. My favorite feature? The automatic time adjustment. You just select your preferred world time, and the hands adjust themselves.
The G-Shock 2100 series module 5611 s a great choice with its clean design and reasonable pricing. Overall, it combines classic G-Shock toughness with modern, versatile features suitable for both everyday wear and other demanding activities.
