Welcome to my Saving Swans series for Football Manager 2018. The goal is in the name, we are going to save Swansea City. We will be following Swansea City starting at the bottom of the table on 20th December 2017 and aim to turn the clubs fortunes around, save Swansea from Relegation and build for the future!

We open up with the return fixture in the Champions League Group Stage against Borussia Dortmund! A draw or win will confirm Swansea City as the group winners, can the Swans get the job done out in Germany, or will the Yellow Wall be too strong for Swansea City?

This is followed up by a local South Wales derby against Cardiff City at the Cardiff City Stadium. Cardiff have been promoted from the Championship and are doing well in 15th place. Anything can happen in a derby and form goes out the window. Can Swansea prove their class, or will the Bluebirds spring a surprise and claim bragging rights?
