As he does every year, Santa Claus paid a visit to young patients at The Nebraska Medical Center. Flanked by U.S. Marines, Santa handed out toys the marines gathered through their Toys for Tots campaign. The visit is a high point in the holiday season for many children who won't be able to spend Christmas at home. Sierra is waiting for a kidney and liver transplant; other children here are undergoing leukemia and lymphoma treatment. All of them are grateful for the generosity of everyone who supports Toys for Tots.
