The fifth generation Viper was first unveiled in concept form at a dealer conference in 2010 in Orlando, FL followed again two weeks later at the 11th annual Viper Owners Invitational in Salt Lake City, UT. Both events solidified plans to put the fifth generation Viper into production in which the production form was unveiled to the world at the 2012 New York auto show to great fanfare. As impressive as its design was, its performance matched it as it features a 8.4L V10 that produces 640hp and 600 lb.ft. of torque enabling it to achieve 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds on its way to a 206mph top speed.

Finished in Adrenaline Red over a Black interior, this example had a base price of $97,395 and is optioned with $6,850 in options including $3,500 for the highly desirable Track Package that afforded two-piece high performance brakes, 18" and 19" lightweight Sidewinder wheels, and performance tires, $3,000 for Sabelt leather bucket seats, and $350 for red seat belts. Including the $2,600 gas guzzler tax and $1,995 for destination the original MSRP totaled $108,840. It was sold new at Woodhouse Dodge in Sioux City, Iowa to a buyer in Oceanside, New York and today presents with just 5,786 miles.

It has been fastidiously maintained and it has received all the factory recalls including P18, P52, R14, R28, R29, and R40 as documented. Additionally, there are two Blackstone oil reports showing the engine to be operating in top shape with no oil consumption affected by some V10's early on. Modifications include a custom carbon fiber front splitter, MOPAR rear carbon fiber spoiler, carbon fiber door sills, the 18 speaker Harmon Kardon sound system normally found with the Laguna interior option was ordered from MOPAR and installed, and the side markers were blacked out in which one cracked and a spare is included. It is currently riding on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires with 2016 date codes sized 285/35R18 and 345/30R19.
