1. We're looking for hold down bolt and anchor bolt spacing.
** Pro Tip: Have your framer out there to place the bolts to ensure there is no conflict with the framing layout.
2. Have enough clearance around your vent lines and form boards.
3. With 2 pour foundations you want to make sure your vertical slab dowels are tied into your footing reinforcements
4. Extend your footing reinforcement out far enough when doing two separate foundation pours that need to be tied together.
5. On short wall runs, be sure to have two anchor bolts minimum to ensure proper anchorage for your walls.
** Pro Tip: Use MASA clips if your framing prevents anchor bolts.
6. The use of dobie blocks can give you the proper clearance from your soil when placing your footing reinforcements
